Bios

David Bayer
Managing Director
(Washington, DC)

David Bayer founded Bayer Consulting LLC (BC) in 2000. Since then he has managed his firm's activities and expansion, while recruiting executives internationally and working with companies and projects seeking capital.

In 2003-04, David Bayer served as VP for the Americas of the International Executive Search Federation (IESF). From 2004 to 2006 David was also the Vice-Chairman of a global nurse recruitment firm, and since 2005 onwards he has been a Senior Consultant/Advisor for Global Finance S.A. Occasionally David Bayer also provides individualized job-hunting guidance to international executives, and helps international organizations plan conference and meetings, and retain keynote speakers.

David has interacted and worked with a broad range of business communities and groups in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Latin America. Before founding BC, David was an independent consultant for different companies across the US and served as a business liaison between the US and Latin America in a program in which he promoted business development and technology transfer between US and Latin American companies.

David has a B A in Journalism, and an MA in International Relations (with an emphasis on Latin American Studies) from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.  He is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural.

Julian Robles
Senior Search and Human Capital Consultant
(Madrid, Spain)

In May 2001, Julian Robles joined the team of Bayer Consulting LLC, as the General Manager of BC's operations in Spain.  Julian brings into the firm more than 20 years of experience dealing with Human Resources management and consulting, having occupied the highest HR position in several multinational corporations in Spain, such as NCR, Hewlett-Packard, Banco Santander, PA Consulting Group, Royal Life and NOA.  Julian has also recruited hundreds of executives in Europe and the Americas.

Julian's business and academic duties have led him to work in several Latin American and European countries and in the U.S.  In addition to his role as a business executive and consultant, Mr. Robles has taught University-level classes and participated as a lecturer in national and international seminars related to Management. 

Julian holds numerous social science degrees, a JD degree from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, and an MBA from IESE (University of Navarre).  He speaks Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Italian .    Julian lives in Madrid with his wife Maria and their two daughters.

John C. Scerbo
Senior Executive Search Consultant – Chicago, IL.

John C. Scerbo joined the Bayer Consulting Team in early 2008 and brings with him over 20 years of recruiting experience within the food industry. John spent 15 years in the food industry before starting his own recruitment company in 2000. John specializes in mid to executive level positions within the Food Industry. John has earned a reputation as one of the leading executive search consultants in the food industry providing solutions to clients across North America. John also provides strategic recruitment planning and competitive analysis for companies in addition to providing guidance and outplacement services to executives.     

Prior to starting his search practice, John was the Director of Human Resources for Kerry Ingredient and Flavors, one of the worlds largest Ingredient and Flavor Manufacturers. While at Kerry Ingredients and Flavors, John managed all Recruitment, Labor Relations as well as Training and Development for all of North America. Before Kerry Ingredients and Flavors, John managed the Human Resource function for Sugar Foods “wet products” division in the US.

John is an active member of IFT (International Food Technologists) and is a certified trainer and career coach. He has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology along with a MBA from the State University of NY at Albany.

Luz P. Bayer
HR Consultant/Executive Coach (California)

Luz Bayer has extensive HR experience in the areas of outplacement counseling, management coaching, consulting, recruitment, training development, and orientation.  Luz has recently focused on executive coaching and has developed and implemented a Personnel Appraisal System for a US company doing business in Latin America.

Luz has extensive experience as a Psychotherapist in diverse environments including community agencies, hospitals, and private practice. As an Employee Assistance Program Provider, Luz has served on a number of panels (including Blue Cross of California, Magellan, The Holman Group, United Behavioral Health, Managed Health Network, Managed Care of California, Ceridian) where she has performed assessments, diagnoses and referrals for individuals, crisis response and management training.

Luz holds a Master's of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Ms. Bayer is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist (M.F.T) and a Clinical member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Luz lives in Orange County, CA, with her husband Chris (aeronautical engineer) and their two daughters.

Wayne Weisberg, CPA
Senior Executive Search Consultant – New York, NY

Wayne is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) that has been in the executive recruitment business for about 20 years.  He has specialized in recruiting accounting and finance professionals; and he has been the principal of a New York-based search firm that focuses in the placement of corporate finance professionals with Fortune 500 companies.

Wayne started working with Bayer Consulting in January of 2007 when he and David Bayer joined forces to conduct a search for Discovery Communications.  Both of them made a good team and recruited a bilingual executive with international experience in Texas who accepted the role as Chief Financial Officer for Latin America.

Wayne obtained a Bachelors Degree in Accounting at the State University of New York, Buffalo, in 1982.  He then worked for 5 years in a Big 4 CPA firm.

Oswaldo Donatelli

Oswaldo is a highly experienced executive search consultant with more than 20 years in the Brazilian executive recruiting business.  Oswaldo has rendered services to several important companies, both Brazilian and multinational, in a diverse industries including manufacturing, banking and financial enterprises, commerce (supermarkets, retail and wholesale chains), high-tech, government agencies and others. In terms of specific functional areas, Oswaldo's expertise in search includes marketing, finance, controllership, sales, logistics, manufacturing, IT, high-tech, human resources-recruiting for top and middle management levels.

Tiffany Kearney
Executive Search Consultant

Tiffany Kearney joined Bayer Consulting LLC in June, 2008 as an Executive Search Consultant.

With over a decade of experience across the Americas and beyond, Tiffany has worked with a wide variety of companies and organizations to initiate, maintain, streamline and expand international operations. Throughout her career, she has leveraged her international expertise to provide clients with essential knowledge, tools and techniques to cultivate a smart and effective global presence across varied industries including Financial Services, Energy and Telecommunications.

Tiffany has a Bachelors degree in International Relations and Spanish from Lake Forest College and an Master of Arts in International Relations with a concentration in Latin America and the Caribbean from Boston University. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Tiffany lives between Boston and Rio de Janeiro.

Lic. Alicia Luna
Country Manager – Mexico, DF, Mexico

Lic. Alicia Luna joined BC in 2007, and heads BC operations in Mexico.  She is a trilingual consultant with several years of corporate and consulting experience.  Prior to joining BC, Lic. Luna was a Search Consultant with Selecorp and Mexican-based search firm, and prior to that she was Director of Recruitment for Unisys in Mexico and Costa Rica.

Lic. Luna holds a BS in Industrial Relations and a Certificate of Arts Studies in Sotheby’s in London.  She speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Monica Sanchez
Country Manager - Chile
Bachelor of Arts with mayor in English Language and Literature, Universidad de Chile. She has developed her career as a Human Resources executive with extensive experience in American and local organizations, working in the areas of Executive Search, Recruitment, Consultancy and Translations. She actively participated in international Executive Search Companies such as Ray & Berndtson and Spencer Stuart, and leaded the start-up of the English institute Grafton Language Academy. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Arnoldo Krohn
Senior Consultant - Argentina
Bachelor in Human Relations at Universidad de Buenos Aires and Diploma in Management Science at DIHT in Germany. He has developed his career as a Human Resources executive with extensive experience in European and local organizations in the areas of Consultancy, Recruitment, Career Transitions, Outplacement, and Performance Evaluation Systems. Arnoldo designed and implemented Human Resources policies and practices to meet regional strategic needs of companies such as European Homecare GmbH, SKP AG, Schein Transition Advisors and KPMG, among others.  Arnoldo is fluent in Spanish, English and German.

Mary Stagnaro de Loguercio
Country Manager – Peru (Associate via BDI)

Mary studied Psychology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has developed her corporate career in the area of Executive Search for local and multinational companies. She has successfully been member of Price Waterhouse and Korn Ferry International. Later on, Mary founded Loguercio & Asociados in Perú and holds a strategic alliance with BDI in Chile and Bayer Consulting.  Mary is fluent in Spanish and English.
